#121 Masters
Made by John Masters of Columbus,Ohio 1989
This is one of my violins. It is attractive and plays well. Presently, I have Pirastro Obligato strings on it.
- #121 is patterned after Stradivari
- The back, sides and neck are moderately figured maple
- The top is close grained Sitka spruce
- The varnish is red-orange-brown, shaded in normally-worn areas
- pegs are heartshaped Hill stlye rosewood with ebony collars
