Amy received her B.M. and M.M. degrees from the Juilliard School after studies with Ivan Galamian and Margaret Pardee. Fritz Kreisler
*Fritz was born on February 2, 1875. Kreisler made his first violin from a cigar box; and when he was four years old, one of the quartet members gave him a toy violin.

Midori took her first lessons on her own tiny violin at age three from her mother! At six, she made her concert debut in her native Osaka, Japan
