Carrying a heavy camera can be hard on the shoulders and neck. I researched camera neck straps and decided to try a Pelican camera strap. I am happy with the choice. I purchased mine from a local camera store and did find one other one online. However, they seem hard to find for purchase.

I needed a camera bag that was deep enough and wide enough to hold the Canon 1DsMark II if I needed to put it in a bag with a couple of lens. I also did not want a bag that too large for me to handle. I purchased this bag from Amazon. No bag is lightweight and I do not necessarily carry(walk around with) this bag, but it is a good travel bag to put in the car. The lens have their own little bags so I can take my camera in hand and hoist a lens bag over my shoulder when walking going on a - Walk About.

"In my mind's eye, I visualize how a particular . . . sight and feeling will appear on a print. If it excites me, there is a good chance it will make a good photograph. It is an intuitive sense, an ability that comes from a lot of practice."
