| Thank you for the links. Although I'm inclined to think that good violins made by contemporary makers are more appropriate for most people, the violins made by the legendary makers are always interesting. The sound clips really do sound subtlety different. |

| Sheila, thanks for the links. Based on the sound from my speakers I would say I leaned toward the Marsick Strad and the del Gesu. |
